• Free delivery is provided up to 200 Km from Rutherglen - beyond that, by arrangement.

Bulls for Sale

REDD935        Born 18/09/08

Redgate Redford is a medium/large framed sire by Koanui Rocket out of an Allendale National daughter. He has dark skin & hair, 100% eye pigment and well hooded.  Exceptionally docile temperament.  Can be joined to heifers. 

Semen has been exported to Finland, Sweden, Norway, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Ireland & South Africa.  Redgate retains all marketing rights for Australia & overseas.  No further call on the bull is expected. 

REDF910        Born 01/09/10

F910 is a medium framed young bull with very sound prospects.  By Koanui Rocket out of South Bukalong Bandana SBPA007, a top heifer purchased at their dispersal.  A7 has consistently produced exceptional females all of which are retained at Redgate.   

Weight 424kg & Scrotal 38cm on 12/12/11.  Very docile temperament.  Should continue to develop and be a very useful, sound bull that will add value & quality in any herd.  

REDF911        Born 02/09/10            Scurred.

F911 is a medium framed young bull with sire prospects.  By Koanui Rocket out of South Bukalong Bandana SBPA007, a full brother to REDF910.

Weight 410kg & Scrotal 39cm on 12/12/11.  Should continue to develop and be a useful, sound bull in any herd.

Females for sale

REDB82          Born 18/08/06           

Medium framed productive cow by Allendale National out of a Wirruna female.  B82 is a healthy productive female: used as a donor.  In calf to “Target” due 12/02/12.  Click here for predicted calf EBVs & pedigree.

National consistently stamps all his progeny with his unique physical attributes, structural soundness and remarkable genetics.  No other Australian bred bull is a trait leader for nine EBVs.  B82 has served us well and is for sale because we need to make room for some promising young females coming through our program.     

REDB83          Born 18/08/06           

Deep bodied productive cow by Allendale National out of an Onslow female.  B83 has a beautiful cherry-red coat, 100% pigment and well hooded in both eyes – she is a standout in the paddock!  In calf to “Target” due 12/02/12.  Click here for predicted calf EBVs & pedigree.

Again B83 is a National daughter which is for sale only because we need to make room for other promising young females in our program.     

REDD930        Born 02/09/08           

Medium framed heifer by Koanui Rocket out of a South Bukalong heifer.  D930’s first calf in 2011 was a heifer by “National” and is being retained.  D930 is back in calf to “National” due 12/02/12.  Click here for predicted calf EBVs & pedigree.

All embryos were collected & evaluated by Reon Holmes BVSc of Holbrook Veterinary Clinic and are stored at Holbrook.

SBPX588 x National

This is a very acceptable combination.  We sold a bull calf in 2010 to Morganvale: the calf was much admired and has grown on to be an eye-catching sire.

AEDR32 x Rocket

R32 was exceptionally fertile and is the foundation of our “Rachael” cow family.  All R32 females have been retained and all bull calves by Rocket have been sold to stud and commercial breeders.  This is a genetic combination that we would not hesitate to re-use.

REDB82 x Target

Target is a Canadian bred bull and his potential has not yet been recognised in Australia.  His Canadian EPDs and the Australian EBVs to date are consistent and both point to Target as a bull not to be overlooked.

Semen for Sale

Allendale National W168

This opportunity to acquire “National” semen arises because semen that was put aside for the USA is no longer required there and can now be released.

Visit any herd where there are “National” daughters and you will see they stand out from the rest in all aspects of appearance, confirmation & structural soundness.

Genetically, “National” is a trait leader for nine EBVs – the only Australian bull ever to achieve this feat.  As far as we know, there are only two other bulls in the world to equal this achievement.

All purchasers of a minimum of 20 straws of “National” semen will receive a “bonus parcel” of semen at no additional cost.  The bonus parcels will contain combinations of straws from “National”, “Redford’ and “Target”.  First in, best dressed!
