This Sale gave all cattle enthusiasts a special opportunity to acquire elite Hereford genetics & pedigrees. All the animals presented in first class order on the day.

 

 

There was vigorous bidding for all the semen lots offered and all were sold.  The average price was $166/straw and the top price was $370/straw (4 times). 

Animal lots did not sell as well through no fault of their own.  Only a small number of commercial and stud buyers were in attendance. 

Bulls sold to a high of $3250 and averaged $2417 while females sold to a high of $3750 and averaged $2300. 

The top selling bull calf, Redgate Renfrew REDD934, was purchased by repeat buyers, Brewer Fischer Partnership of Mudgegonga, Victoria. 

The top selling female, Redgate Royal REDB81, was purchased by Baliol Poll Herefords of Strathbogie, Victoria. 

A pack of Coopers Paramax, donated by McNamara’s CRT Country Store, Rutherglen & Coopers Animal Health, was presented to Brewer Fischer Partnership. Two bottles of wine donated by Valhalla Wines of Rutherglen was presented to Baliol Poll Herefords by the winemaker Anton Therkildsen. 

Lots not sold “under the hammer” are being retained for the time being.
