Redgate’s foundation sire was "Allendale National".  He has bred extremely well for us and has some of the very best EBV figures in both Australia & New Zealand.

‘National’ is a trait leader in 7 EBVs and ranked in the top 5% for 9 EBVs and all $indexes.  He was awarded the ‘Sire of the Year’ for 2006 by the Australian Poll Hereford Society. 

In 2003 Kevin Jensen (from Kansas USA) judged at the APHS National Show & Sale at Dubbo and awarded National the Grand Champion ribbon.  Redgate purchased this bull for $85,000.  At the World Hereford Conference Show in Sydney in 2004, he was awarded a ‘Highly Commended’ ribbon. 

Semen from ‘National’ has been sold throughout Australia, New Zealand & Argentina.

Semen is now stored in Canada & the United States and is for sale.
